Integrating your custom Canva designs with the Citadel App is an efficient way to manage your digital signage content. Follow these steps to export your creative work and upload it to your library.

1. Exporting Your Design from Canva

To ensure your content displays correctly on your digital signage, you must first export it from Canva in a compatible file format.

  1. Open your project in Canva.

  2. Click the Share button in the top right corner.

  3. Select Download from the dropdown menu.

  4. Choose your File Type:

    • MP4 Video: Best for animations or videos.

    • PNG or JPG: Best for static images.

  5. Click Download to save the file to your computer.

2. Uploading to the Citadel Content Library

Once your file is saved, follow these steps to add it to the Citadel App.

  1. Log in to the Citadel App.

  2. Navigate to the Files/Assets section in Citadel

  3. Optional: Select a folder from the list, such as Announcements or Creative_Assets, to keep your content organized.

  4. Click the Upload button located at the top of the page.

  5. Select your exported Canva file from your computer or drag onto the screen to begin the upload.

  6. Once the upload is complete, your file will appear in the library with its Name, Size, and Type clearly listed.

Tips for Best Results

  • Aspect Ratio: Ensure your Canva project matches the orientation of your screens (typically 16:9 for landscape or 9:16 for portrait).

  • Organization: Use Tags or specific folders to make your new Canva uploads easy to find when building Playlists.
